A significant percentage of our students achieve higher than the world average in their Pearson assessments and are formally recognised with a Pearson award every year. We are not an exam factory but we are serious about results. Our IGCSE and A Level students are prepared thoroughly, and they perform.

Our Maths students run a Formula 1 project. Our Psychology programme is growing and gaining recognition. Our student leadership programme is being overhauled to include coaching sessions that develop students as learners not just achievers. How is the National Curriculum of England different from other British curricula and what is Pearson?
The National Curriculum of England is the same framework used in state and independent schools across England one of the most respected academic systems in the world. At Belvedere, we deliver it through Pearson, one of the world's leading educational publishers and assessment bodies. Pearson's qualifications including IGCSE and A Levels are internationally recognised by universities worldwide. A significant percentage of our students achieve above the world average in their Pearson assessments and receive a formal Pearson award every year.
How do you keep students safe and what is ADEK?
ADEK is the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge, the regulatory body that oversees all schools in Abu Dhabi. Belvedere is fully ADEK-compliant, which means our safeguarding, welfare, and operational procedures are independently inspected and verified. Our most recent ADEK inspection rated us "Very Good" in the 2024-25 cycle. Our campus is monitored, our pastoral care team is active across all year groups, and our school culture is built on respect and responsibility at every level.
Is Belvedere right for my child if they have not been in the British system before?
Yes. Many of our students join us from different curricula and school systems particularly families new to Abu Dhabi. Our teachers are experienced in supporting students making the transition, and our placement process ensures every new student starts in the right year group with the right level of support. The National Curriculum of England is structured and progressive students who join with strong foundations settle in quickly.
